Change of management at SAP
The German publisher has announced the decision of its CEO, Bill McDermott, not to renew his contract. He is replaced by Jennifer Morgan (48) and Christian Klein (39), members of the Board of Directors, who previously held the positions of Head of Cloud Business Lines and Chief Operating Officer, respectively. If the announcement is effective immediately, Bill McDermott will serve as an advisor until the end of 2019 to ensure the transition. After joining Sap In 2002, he took the helm nearly a decade ago, making numerous acquisitions, including those ofAriba in 2012 to strengthen its position in the market for digital purchasing solutions, and Fieldglass (temporary purchasing) and Concur (travel and business expenses) in 2014.
