Lean in shopping

Ivalua offers a 13-page document on Lean Management and its application to the areas of procurement and supply management. After a reminder of the stakes, the document explains how the method, long limited to industrial processes, can be implemented by buyers to control waste and limit losses. It also details the key success factors of a move in this direction.
Last year, Acxias devoted two sessions of its "20 minutes of e-purchase" to the same topic: one devoted to the fundamentals of Lean Procurement, the other to a concrete example of application to an e-procurement project. The proceedings are available for download.
